Rare miniature edition of The Mayflower Compact issued on the 350th anniversary of the landing of the Pilgrims at Plymouth rock on December 11, 1620. 16mo, bound in full vellum by Reliure with gilt titles to the spine and central inlaid red morocco Mayflower ship motif decorated in gilt, all edges gilt, with two commemorative stamps tipped in. One of 1000 copies. In fine condition.

The original manuscript of the Mayflower Compact signed by forty-one of the fifty-one men of the Pilgrim company as the ship lay at anchor in what is now Provincetown Harbor, would be, if it were ever found, one of the most precious documents in American history, rivaling even the Declaration of Independence.
