Large octavo, original cloth with gilt titles and illustration to the spine, gilt vignette to the front panel, gilt topstain, lettered tissue-guarded frontispiece portrait of George Washington. Signed and dated by the author on the front free endpaper, “Theodore Roosevelt Sept 1902.” Biographical sketch by Frances V. Greene. In fine condition. Rare and desirable. Uncommon signed.
