Octavo, 8 volumes bound in full contemporary calf with gilt tooling to the spine in six compartments within raised bands, morocco spine labels lettered in gilt, gilt ruling to the front and rear panels, marbled endpapers and inner dentelles. A New Edition complete with an engraved portrait of the author and 4 folding maps. In near fine condition. Expertly rebacked. A desirable contemporary binding.
