Sherman Uncle Cump’s first partner Sherman + Stanton.” Friends and family of General William Tecumseh Sherman often referred to him by the nickname “Cump.” In near fine condition.
General William Tecumseh Sherman’s son Philemon Tecumseh Sherman's library was transferred to his niece, Eleanor Sherman Fitch, the granddaughter of General Sherman through his eldest daughter, Maria “Minnie” Ewing Sherman Fitch, before he died. Until now, this book was held at the family estate in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
