Alexander Rae Baldwin III known for his leading and supporting roles in a variety of genres, from comedy to drama. has received numerous accolades including three Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards as well as nominations for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, and Tony Award. Very tragically, on October 22, 2021, while on the Rust film set, Baldwin discharged a revolver used as a prop, unaware that it had been improperly loaded with live ammunition, resulting in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. Baldwin was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in January 2023 with the trial beginning on July 9, 2024. The case was dismissed with prejudice three days later after it had been determined that the prosecutor's office withheld evidence.
