The Natural Economic Order is Silvio Gesell's most well-known work. It attempts to provide a solid basis for economic liberalism in contrast to the twentieth century trend of collectivism and planned economy. Keynes wrote, "I believe that the future will learn more from the spirit of Gesell than from that of Marx."
