Octavo, original cloth, illustrations and maps, including four double-page color maps of the European theatre and battlefields. Presentation copy, signed by the author on a bookplate with a typed inscription, “To Lily Bradford Miller with best wishes, Dwight D. Eisenhower.” Laid in is the original typed transmittal letter which accompanied the book, addressed to the recipient’s daughter, Miss Doris Miller, and signed by Kevin McCann, Assistant to the President. Near fine in a very good dust jacket with light rubbing to the extremities.
