Raptis Rare Books is pleased to welcome acclaimed speaker and historian Edwin Lamont as he discusses the intriguing history of Addison Mizner: Exotic Society Architect.

 Addison Mizner brought forth the distinctive Mizner style of architecture, interior, and landscape design in Palm Beach. From the mind of Mizner sprung private clubs, oceanfront and lakeside mansions,

and the Worth Avenue shopping vias. He transformed Palm Beach from “Winter Newport” to America’s Riviera.”

Since 1991, Ed Lamont has served as a docent at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum in Palm Beach. He leads historical tours at the Breakers Hotel and gives gallery talks at the Society of Four Arts.
