The people who made the West Palm Beach Library Foundation‘s signature fundraiser possible were thanked at a reception hosted by Matthew and Adrienne Raptis.

The event took place Feb. 7 at Raptis Rare Books on Worth Avenue.

The champagne-and-charcuterie evening honored Melissa Sullivan, chairwoman and platinum-level benefactor for the 2023 Food for Thought evening; grand benefactor Ann W. Brown; benefactor Beverly Myers; and honorary co-chairs Dianne and Abe Bernstein.

More than 75 people attended, including corporate benefactors Margaret Moraskie of Levenger and Denis Kleshchyn of Yvel; sponsors Jeff and Gina Sabean; and committee member Diane Myers.

The 2023 Food for Thought dinner took place Nov. 4 at the Norton Museum of Art, and featured guest speaker Carl Hiaasen. The event included 19 table hosts, nearly 200 guests, and raised a record amount for the Mandel Public Library in West Palm Beach.

The 2024 Food for Thought event will take place Nov. 2 at the Beach Club. Brad Meltzer is the guest speaker.
