One of two 1765 editions; Scott argues for the priority of this cheaper of the two editions, but Rothschild suggests also that it may be a piracy. Rothschild 1027. In good condition. Exceptionally rare, one of the earliest books printed in Roman type, which would influence famed 15th century Venetian printer Aldus Manutius, as well as such latter day designers as William Morris and Bruce Rogers.
