First Philadelphia reissue of The Star Spangled Banner, printed using the same plates as the first printing. Folio, four pages, engraved sheet music with American flag vignette. The national anthem of the United States was first published under the title "The Star Spangled Banner" by Thomas Carr in October 1814 in Baltimore and was subsequently reprinted in Philadelphia by A. Bacon & Co. in November 1814. This reissue was produced using the same plates as the first Philadelphia printing (BAL 11080, 247; Filby & Howard, S-12). In very good condition.
