Rare Photograph Signed by Charles, Prince of Wales is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history, as well as the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Born in Buckingham Palace in 1948 as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer on July 29th, 1981 at Saint Paul's Cathedral in London; the ceremony reached a global television audience of over 750 million viewers.
