Best known for his Chronicles of Barsetshire, Victorian era English novelist Anthony Trollope was a prolific writer, publishing dozens of novels addressing current political, social, and gender issues. Trollope's He Knew Was Right describes the failure of a marriage caused by the unreasonable jealousy of a husband exacerbated by the stubbornness of a willful wife.
