"The world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people": Rare original Henry Miller watercolor painting; signed by him

Henry Miller Original Watercolor Painting.
MILLER, Henry.
Item Number: 130551
Rare original watercolor painting by American writer and artist Henry Miller. Signed and dated by the artist, “Henry Miller 8/69.” In near fine condition. Matted and framed, the entire piece measures 31 inches by 27 inches.
In addition to his contributions to literature, American writer and artist Henry Miller produced a significant body of watercolor paintings and published several books on the field. Unlike writing, which Miller considered work, he regarded painting as a means to recharge and relax, and even used his watercolors to barter for household supplies and other services. Many of Miller's paintings feature horses and horse-like figures reminiscent of the Etruscan ceramic paintings he admired at the Louvre during his time living and working in Paris.
