Rare autograph letter signed by Scottish novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie. Duodecimo, one page on Adelphi Terrace House stationery, dated 13 November 1911. The letter is to a gentleman regarding signing some papers of one of the author’s plays. In near fine condition, with light toning and a light vertical crease. The piece measures 5.5 inches by 7 inches.

J.M. Barrie, the Scottish novelist and playwright, is best known for creating Peter Pan, a timeless tale that explores themes of childhood, imagination, and the desire to escape the constraints of adulthood. Born in 1860 in Kirriemuir, Scotland, Barrie was deeply influenced by his upbringing and personal experiences, particularly his relationship with the Llewelyn Davies family, whose children inspired Peter Pan.
