Bound in original full vellum with black and red titles, frontispiece in volume 1and double frontispiece in volume 24 with separate portaits of both Luther and Walch. In very good condition, with a light spot on the bottom spine where a former number was. An attractive set, uncommon.
This edition of Martin Luther’s Works is important for Walch’s valuable introductions and the inclusion of many other documents of the Reformation period.
