Widely considered the greatest hockey player of all time, Canadian professional ice hockey player Bobby Orr was renowned for his play-making abilities which revolutionized the position of defenceman. He played in the National Hockey League for 12 seasons, starting with 10 with the Boston Bruins followed by two with the Chicago Black Hawks. Orr remains the only defenceman to have won the league scoring title with two Art Ross Trophies and holds the record for most points and assists in a single season by a defenceman. Orr states in his introduction to the present volume, "Orr on Ice is a book about my experiences in professional ice hockey... Believing that pictures tell a better story than words, I am presenting this book to you with as few words as possible... Orr on Ice is the way I play hockey!"
