Ford's beloved retelling of the Nativity of Christ, The Ageless Story, was named a Caldecott Medal Honor in 1940. The book contains an illuminated musical score of Signs of Solesmes accompanied by elaborately hand painted illustrations of the story of the Nativity with gilt decorated borders to each page.
