Each volume is inscribed by Herbert Hoover as follows, “To my good friend Irene Kuhn from Herbert Hoover.” Irene Kuhn was an author, journalist and radio broadcaster. Kuhn was asked to read the news on the air, became the first person, male or female, to be heard by radio in China. Each are near fine in very good to near fine dust jackets. Laid in is a Western Union Telegram regarding the funeral service of President Hoover, from Herbert and Allan Hoover.
