Presentation copy, inscribed by the author in the year of publication on the title page, “John le Carre For Pat with my best July 2nd ’93.” Additionally signed three times by jacket designer Chip Kidd, once on the front panel, on the title page and again on the rear flap. Fine in a near fine dust jacket. Jacket design by Chip Kidd and Carol Devine Carson.

“A splendidly exciting, finely told story . . . masterly in its conception" (The New York Times Book Review).
