Sepia-toned silver gelatin photograph of Walt Whitman. The photograph was taken in Brooklyn in September 1872 by G.F.E. Pearsall when the poet was fifty-three years old. Signed “Walt Whitman born May 31 1819.” In very good condition with some toning to the edges. The photograph is 4.25″ x 7. Matted and Framed.
