Octavo, original cloth. Signed by the author on front free endpaper, “with best wishes Dorothy Baker.” Additionally signed by legendary actor Kirk Douglas, who starred as Rick Martin in the film. Near fine in a very good price-clipped dust jacket.

Young Man with a Horn is based on the real life of jazz cornet player Bix Beiderbecke and was adapted for the movie Young Man With a Horn with Kirk Douglas, Doris Day, Lauren Bacall, Juano Hernández, and real-life Bix Beiderbecke friend and collaborator Hoagy Carmichael.
