View our latest video short featuring Adrienne Raptis delving into the history of Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s first appeared in the November 1958 issue of Esquire Magazine. It was published only months later in book form by Random House as part of a collection of short stories.
Set in Manhattan’s Upper East Side in the Autumn of 1943, Breakfast at Tiffany’s follows the story of Holly Golightly, a free-spirited young woman living in a brownstone apartment, known for her eccentricities and unconventional lifestyle.
The novella was adapted into the now classic 1961 film starring Audrey Hepburn which won two Academy Awards.
This beautiful first edition is signed by Truman Capote on the half-title page and is housed in a custom half morocco clamshell box by the Harcourt Bindery. It is available for purchase in our Worth Avenue Gallery for $5,500.
