The national anthem of the United States was first published under the title "The Star Spangled Banner" by Thomas Carr in October 1814 in Baltimore and was subsequently reprinted in Philadelphia by A. Bacon & Co. in November 1814. (BAL 11081, 247; Sabin 90498). In very good condition. Early printings of The Star Spangled Banner are scarce.
