Rare silver gelatin print of Karsh's iconic portrait of Churchill, “The Roaring Lion” which in May 1941 was featured on the cover of Life magazine and brought Karsh international fame. Signed by Karsh "Y. Karsh", along with a clipped original signature of Winston Churchill matted below. In fine condition. Matted and framed. The photograph measures 8.5 inches by 6.25 inches. The entire piece measures 23.5 inches by 18.5 inches. An exceptional piece.
