Copper engraved, hand-colored map of one of the most decorative maps of the Holy Land of the 17th century. One page with hand-colored borders, the map depicts the tribes of Israel and the route the Israelites took from Egypt through Sinai into Canaan. In the sea there are three sea monsters, one of which has targeted a fishing vessel. The title cartouche is guarded by two dogs, draped with fruit, and flanked by Moses inscribing the ten commandments and a Jewish high priest. In fine condition. Double matted and framed.

Duodecimo, bound in full leather with elaborate tooling stamped in blind to the front and rear panels, parchment manuscript in black and red ink, with six full-page hand-painted miniatures depicting the Annunciation, the Madonna and child, Saint George slaying the dragon, Michael striking down Lucifer, Saint Tekle Haymanot of Ethiopia, and the Transfiguration of Jesus. The book measures 5 inches in height and 3.75 inches in width. Writing to the final two leaves with a hand-hemmed corner on the last leaf from a previous owner.
