Large folio, original full brown morocco gilt, watered silk endpapers, top edge gilt. Signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt. Comes with the additional booklet from the 1936 Democratic convention and two original pins, one reading, "I Want Roosevelt Again" and one which reads "Roosevelt." In near fine condition.

Frustrated that he did not win the Republican nomination for the Presidency in 1912, Roosevelt founded the Progressive or the "Bull Moose" party in order to challenge the Republican incumbent William Howard Taft.
