Rare Presidential Land Grant signed by Andrew Jackson as President and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Elijah Hayward. One page partially printed on vellum the document is dated November 11, 1830 and officially grants Scott Riggs a 72-acre land parcel in Springfield, Illinois. Signed at the conclusion "Andrew Jackson" and "Elijah Hayward" with the white paper paper seal to the lower left corner. In very good condition. Matted and framed. The entire piece measures 19.5 by 13.5 inches.

Rare Presidential Land Grant signed by Andrew Jackson as President. Quarto, one page partially printed and accomplished in manuscript, the document is dated January 4, 1830 and grants a quarter of land in Vigo County, Indiana to Charles B. Modesitt. The recipient, Charles Burns Modesitt, was a physician and businessman and one of the first settlers of Vigo County. He became an early adherent of the Church of Latter Day Saints beginning in 1838. Matted and framed. In very good condition. The piece measures 22.6 inches by 18.3 inches.

Mellon. Signed by Mellon on the verso, "A.W. Mellon." In near fine condition with a vertical crease and signature cancellation hole punches along the bottom edge.
